A-List Speaker Series Hosts Second Annual Event

Chicago, IL (August 22, 2017) – The second annual motivational A-List Speaker Series will be held on Saturday, October 21, 2017 at the Thorne Auditorium of Northwestern University’s Pritzker School of Law from 1:00 p.m. until 3 p.m. Last year’s event drew hundreds of African American and Latino young adults from across the city. The A-List Speaker Series was created to inspire and motivate young adults interested in pursuing careers in the entertainment industry. It is geared towards minority young adults ages 14 to 24. Students and young professionals meet minorities in Hollywood’s elite and learn practical strategies to achieve success in the entertainment business. A-List Speaker Series invites attendees to join and experience the ultimate entertainment engagement – four accomplished industry speakers. The panel experts will discuss the latest trends in the industry and provide information on best practices. It is an opportunity for attendees to learn about their vision and ask the featured speakers questions; business and legal affairs, the power of public relations, photography and visual effects and telling your story through cinema. This event is free and open to the public. Jeanne Sparrow Emmy-winning television host and reporter, will moderate the event. Lisa Marie Boykin, Senior Vice President of Business and Legal Affairs at Annapurna Pictures (Zero Dark Thirty, The Hurt Locker and Detroit), will serve as key note speaker and the event will be rounded out with three talented and celebrated guest panelists; Robin E.
